Brief description of what it is:

Established in 1888 the Southport Hoteliers Association (SHA) is the oldest in the country and continues today, as it has done so for over 120 years, to ensure that it's members provide the highest levels of accommodation. Ranging from the Largest Hotel to the smallest Guest House or Self Catering Apartments all member establishments are inspected annually and graded accordingly by either VisitBritain or The AA.

Although the Association is over 100 years old, and still enjoys its traditional image, it is well aware of the need to move forward with the times. The intention of SHA is to rise to the challenges placed upon them and improve the quality of service that they provide for visitors in the ever-changing resort that is Southport.
