Wirral Attractions Consortium
The Consortium has been in existence for nearly 10 years. It is made up of a variety of Wirral attractions that pay an annual membership fee. Every year they produce a leaflet called 'Wirral Favourite Days Out' which is distributed via the attractions themselves and TIC's on Merseyside. They also attend a selection of exhibitions to raise their profile and promote the attractions. The aim was, and remains, to provide mutual support and to enable joint marketing initiatives. There is a Constitution which details joining criteria and they do have a Chair. Enquiries regarding joining criteria would have to go through the Chair. Details in Steering Group Contacts.
The current attractions are:-
- Birkenhead Heritage Trail (Wirral Museum, Williamson Art Gallery and Museum, Wirral Transport Museum, Birkenhead Priory and Shore Road Pumping Station).
- Mersey Ferries
- Spaceport
- Bromborough Pool
