Liverpool voted UK’s ‘friendliest city’ by readers of Condé Nast Traveller

Readers of leading leisure magazine Condé Nast Traveller have voted Liverpool as the UK’s Friendliest City for a second successive year.

The accolade was awarded at the Condé Nast Traveller 14^th Annual Readers’ Travel Awards, which took place at the Royal Institution of Great Britain in London last night (Wednesday, 31^st August).

Sarah Miller, Editor of Condé Nast Traveller, commented: “Readers just love Liverpool. They think it’s the friendliest city with very hospitable people and also great value for money.”

The 2011 awards have also seen Liverpool retain its position as the 4^th Favourite UK City for the second successive year, ranking only behind London, Edinburgh and Bath.
