Record visitor figures for City Region for first 7 months of 2011

TMP, the Tourist Board for Liverpool City Region, has announced a strong and encouraging increase in the number of visitors to Liverpool City Region for the first half of the year.

July 2011 was a record month with 222,000 hotel rooms sold across the City Region –12,000 more than the previous highest recorded month of October 2010.
