The phenomenal success of Liverpool John Lennon Airport over recent years has secured record number of overseas visitors to Liverpool and the City Region. International visitors are being welcomed from countries such as Italy, Spain, Holland, the Nordics, Ireland, Japan, and others.

The Mersey Partnership manages a series of 'destination' marketing initiatives across the year to try to stimulate more and more overseas visitors (leisure and business travel business) to the area, to help support accommodation providers, attractions and other tourism businesses.

Exhibitions, sales missions, and Events: opportunities to buy into key overseas consumer and travel trade exhibitions to help develop your business.

Opportunities range from literature presence on-stand, through to stand share (one member of your staff to sell directly off the stand).

Liverpool & City Region Official Overseas Visitor Guides 2010 edition: TMP produce a suite of six overseas visitor guides, translated into foreign languages including Japanese, Chinese, German, Spanish, Italian and French. Print runs extend to approximately 10,000 copies per language. Guides are used at key international events and missions, plus are racked at LJLA Tourist Information Centre throughout the year. Downloadable versions will also be available from visitliverpool.com overseas sites.
