Survey Of Visitor Attractions

The Survey of Visitor Attractions monitors trends in the visitor attraction sector throughout the UK to improve wider understanding of the dynamics of the sector.

The results of the survey enable operators to benchmark their operation both within their category, within their region and across the sector as a whole. Participation is free to all attractions and is simply a matter of responding to an email regarding number of visits by month on a quarterly basis. All panel members receive an Excel spreadsheet quarterly which outlines number of visit to all attractions within the Northwest.

The findings contribute to regional and national estimates of the economic impact of tourism and inform regional development and planning work.
