It is essential that we have staff in the tourism and hospitality industries equipped to deliver a World class service as we strive to make the Liverpool City Region a World class destination over the next few years. Businesses need to invest to attract and retain the best staff, promote training as a key part of personal development and equip their staff with the knowledge and skills needed to do their job - and do it well!
At The Mersey Partnership, we have a raft of skills initiatives to encourage businesses to take training and skills development seriously aided by financial support to enable them to do so. These initiatives include The Talent Programme management training for supervisors and first line managers; Action for Tourism for Business Leaders; HR Toolkit workshops; basic language training; showcase events for chefs; Loyal or Lost Customers service recovery workshops and many others
