English For Speakers Of Other Languages (Esol)

ESOL courses are English language courses available to people who do not have English as their first language. They cover speaking and listening, reading and writing, vocabulary, punctuation and grammar.

If you want to find out more about general ESOL provision you can contact your local community college or call the Careers Advice Service, who will be able to signpost you to suitable programmes. They can be contacted on 0800 100 900 which is open from 8.00am to 10.00pm, seven days a week.
