Train To Gain

Everyone recognises the value of training, but when it comes to your business, how do you make sure you choose the right training, at the right price? The answer is Train to Gain - a new service from the Learning & Skills Council to help businesses get the training they need to succeed. Together with your Train to Gain Skills Broker, you can identify skills needs, put together a training package and find available funding. Free training is available to help your employees gain a full level 2 qualification, including statutory qualifications. There is also some funding available for level 3 qualifications and other, non-qualification-based training. If your company employs fewer than 50 staff, and it their first full level 2 qualification, then you may be eligible for a contribution towards wage costs as well. Train to Gain offers training that is flexible, responsive to your needs and offered at a time and place to suit you - many companies choose to carry out training on their own premises.
