Springboard North is part of Springboard UK & The Springboard Charity, a dynamic organisation, which aims to educate people about careers and job opportunities in the hospitality, leisure, tourism and travel industry. They work with young people, their parents / guardians and teachers to enthuse and inform them about the industry and its broad range of career opportunities, often through hands-on experiences. They have a highly regarded educational programme to support the curriculum in schools and colleges; they run teacher and student training days and help with direct links to this vibrant industry. Furthermore, they are actively involved with programmes designed to help the unemployed and adult returners get a feel for working in the industry and support them into structured training programmes and suitable careers.

Into Work-Summer School:Offering young people interested in a career in tourism and hospitality a week's industry specific training followed by a tourism and hospitality business employer placement.

Future Chef: A four staged nationwide culinary programme helping young people aged 12-16 to learn to cook. It inspires them to explore food and cooking as a life skill, helps to develop their culinary talent and informs them about entry routes into the hospitality industry. The programme encourages the next generation of young chefs and of course crowns one talented student as the FutureChef winner!
